If you enjoy paranormal romance authors like Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter & Larissa Ione, or science fiction romance authors like Nalini Singh, and Michelle M. Pillow, to name a few, you will love Kiersten Fay’s devilishly seductive tales filled with electrifying action, sizzling romance, and irresistibly sexy heroes.
My Shadow Quest series is by far my most popular romance series with Book #1 – The Demon’s Possession, having over a few hundred reviews on Amazon. I’ve written each book in such a way that a reader can jump in and start reading any book in the series without feeling lost, but the series as a whole is much more enjoyable when read in order.
The story is set in outer space, so it partly falls in the science fiction or sci-fi romance genre, but it’s much more similar to the other paranormal romance novels out on the market today. The only difference is that it takes place in outer space and on other planets rather than Earth. However, The Demon’s Retribution does briefly visit modern day Earth.
The characters are loosely based in mythology with my own special twist on the supernatural elements. There is magic and mystery, heroes and villains, action and adventure, and, of course, hot steamy romance.
Creatures of Darkness is set in an alternative future where vampires have revealed themselves to the world. One hundred years after their controversial Revelation, wars are still breaking out between the many vampire clans and the humans who want them wiped out. Meanwhile my characters are just trying to live their lives.
The Coraline Conwell novels focus on a woman who has tried to stay away from the supernatural world all her life, but gets dragged into it nonetheless when her husband is brutally murdered in the midst of a VEA (Vampire Enforcement Agency) investigation. Over time, she discovers she is something more than human.
In my CoD Coraline Conwell novels, I’ve explored a bit of dark fantasy with unconventional relationships as multiple men vie for Coraline’s affection. However, Keeping His Siren, a spin off miniseries, is more of a traditional paranormal romance.
The Ever Nights Chronicles is a spinoff of the Creatures of Darkness series. Set in the same world, it follows Cortez and his vampire clan and the club that they run together, Ever Nights. In 2018 KEEPING HIS SIREN won the NERFA Award (National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award, a contest dedicated to bringing attention to the best romance fiction each year), and The Vampire’s Masquerade became a USA Today Bestseller.

The Demon’s Possession

Review: Shadow Quest Series is a new favorite!!
I have absolutely fallen in love with the characters author Kiersten Fay has created in this opening book to the Shadow Quest series. As a recent convert to reading and enjoying the Sci Fi/Fantasy genre, I was pulled into this story and could not let go until I finished the last page (and of course I am ready for the next installment!) Analia and Sebastian’s budding relationship is not without trials, but the connection between them is HOT!!! …

Review: Beautifully written exciting tale!
Demon Possession is a very well written exciting adventure with a cast of colorful characters. It’s a great start to a new series I look forward to reading. Demon takes place in a vibrant world in outer space giving it a very sci-fi feel. I’m not usually convinced by other worlds in space, it’s not my thing, but the author did a great job making it realistic and fun. …

Even though Anya starts out as very naive – you can’t help but love her joy and wonderment at everything she is discovering – no memories before being kept as a slave by he Evil Darius. She escapes on to another ship and eventually into the arms and heart of Sebastian. Along the way she gains a whole new family and discovers a purpose and soul stirring deep love and passion. …

Review: Demon Slave (Shadow Quest Book 2) , A Review for Bodice Rippers, Femme Fatales and Fantasy
Demon Slave starts off from where we left Sebastian, Analia, Marik, Sonya and Ethan.. attempting to find one of Analia’s missing sisters. Kiersten Fay does an excellent job of making this a stand alone book and yet still weaving so very much of story arc into the book. I was impressed with her ability to make a reader feel comfortable whether they had read Demon Possession or not… for what it’s worth I would suggest that you read this series in order, I know there’s a shocker, but so far both books stand alone beautifully!! …

Review: Demons in bulk, oh my
Our demon cook is such a tortured sweet heart, so wrapped up in his past and his shame that he doesn’t see matehood when it’s staring him in the face and beating him over the head. Even if his every impulse screams at him and his instincts try to comply.
Nadua is a touch irritating, but for accepting our lovely demon, ugly past and all, she gets my vote.

Review: Full of Action!
I can say I liked this book better than the first! Nadua and Mariks connection was interesting. I enjoyed the different story lines which brought in previous characters. My favorite, however is the tension between Sonya and Ethan. Look forward to there storyline.

The Demon’s Retribution

Review: Great Series
This has become one of my new favorite series. I really enjoy the great mix of romance and action. The demon siblings and the Faieara siblings seem to be finding their mates just in time to rescue Faierara from the invaders. I highly recommend you read them all in order.
In this third book in the series. Cale is sent to find Kyra. It was amusing to hear his impressions of Earth and see him adapt. After living there for so many centuries, Kyra really has embraced the culture. She labels Cale as a player pretty quickly and he uses the urban dictionary to figure out what she means. …

The Demon’s Retribution

Review: A GraveTells Review: Fantastic story!
400 years ago, Princess Kyra’s world was forever changed when her home planet, Evlon, was invaded by a mysterious race called the Kayadon. As chaos raged outside the palace, King Alestar of the Faieara-and Kyra’s father-decided to send his daughters away from Evlon as quickly as possible before they could be captured. After being abruptly deposited in a shuttle, Kyra was sent to Earth alone. Four centuries later, she has lost all hope of ever seeing her family or her home again. She’s lived a lonely life, never staying in one place too long in order to conceal her true identity. When a demon named Cale shows up claiming he’s been sent by Kyra’s family to bring her to them, she’ll have to trust him, as it seems that Cale isn’t the only one who’s after her.

The Demon’s Retribution

Review: Highly recommend
This was a great installment from a fantastic new author. I loved the way the romance develops between the two main characters, the changing of dynamics and how things come together at the end. For me, the main storyline dominates towards the end of the book (as one would expect since the three books have been building towards a resolution of some kind) and consequently, the romance storyline ended quite suddenly in this book. Due to some great writing, this didn’t detract from the overall satisfaction I got from reading it in one hit (yip…I put everything on hold for a day). Exciting new characters introduced…cant wait for more!

A Wicked Hunger by Kiersten Fay is one smoking hot read. Readers will be dragged instantly into the novel. At first, readers are taken on one woman’s journey of seducing her husband to her being shot at and then to find that her husband is dead. But that’s not all. Someone wants her dead. Cora ends up finding herself being taken into protective custody by none other than a hot sexy vampire. …

Wow… I don’t even know where to start. This book was great. It kept me on the edge of my seat with where it was going the entire time. I absolutely love Mace and Cora. Knox…. I don’t know how I feel about him.
I’m going to start at the one thing that I didn’t like, however this did not drop the rating of my review because I know there will be another book. The cliff hanger. 🙂
Darn was it hot! Hot, yes it was hot, hmmmm. How to put that in better terms? Yep there are no better terms then HOT!

Review: I’m looking forward to picking up the next book in this series
So, i think this book started out interestingly but as I read even though there was action it go a little boring. Not enough for me to stop reading but kind of a lull where I kept thinking “ have I read this somewhere before?”. Even though there was some great action it just seemed way to familiar for me to enjoy it. BUT then we get to the end and things start getting interesting again. There is where we meet Knox and who he is keeping secret in the safe house that Cora and Mace hide out at. And we find out a secret about Cora. Also a possible betrayal in a tight nit group of vampires. …

Review: Great Book !!!!
This is the second book of Creatures of Darkness and it keep me on the edge of my seat .I like that Ms.Fay has introduced us to Brayden and I hope Cora finds happiness with him.Cora is finally finding her powers and there were some suprises as well .I love the chemistry between those two and she keeps us guessing what will become of Mace and Knox .I can’t wait to she what else will be in store for all of them.My only complaint is I hope since this is a continuing story we will get the next book in the next six months I don’t want to wait a year for this story it is just to good to wait that long.Thank you Ms. Fay for an amazing series.

A Wicked Night

Review: An amazing follow up to book 1!!
4.5 Stars *Warning: possible spoilers*
If it’s one thing I like about Fay’s books, is that while it’s sometimes slow to occur, the female lead grows strong in and of herself. The only thing that kept me from giving this a solid 5 instead of 4.5 is that Cora, though much bolder and more brazen toward the end of this book than she is in the beginning, is still not where she should be.
For a woman who grew up on the streets and in gangs, she’s a lot more naive and trusting than someone should be, having been in those situations. She’s kind of like Forest Gump, except that bad things keep happening to her. She keeps getting taken advantage of due to her own naivete, albeit she does grow stronger b/c of those incidences.

Review: Heart pounding page turning greatness.
At the end of Wicked Hunger you are left craving this book. Trust me in no way is it a let down! Delving into Cora a bit deeper while finding out more of the rest of the characters you feel as though you are immersed in this storyline. I cringed at the horrid scenes that played out making my heart pound inside my ears as I swiped the pages unable to put it down. The intensity of the scenes Kiersten painted for her readers was magnificent. I thoroughly enjoyed the second installment of the Cora Conwell Series.

Review: Finally some Knox!
First let me start off by saying I think Kiersten Fay is an amazing writer and she always make her characters pop of the page while moving the story forward at an excellent pace. This was no exception. It picks up where the last book in this series ended, with Coraline getting over her captivity and torture while struggling to come to grips with what she is and her circumstances (especially those relating to being bonded to 3 male vampires – one of which seems to detest her).
I loved that we got a better look into the mind of Knox in this book and that the relationship between him and Coraline finally moved forward. In my opinion he is the best of the three vampires, and the one that seems most likely to stand up for her. I loved Mace in the previous book, but he seems to just go with the flow and defer way too much to the vampire leader. I am not sure he would stand up for her if the need arose. …

I absolutely adore this author’s work and this series. Having said that, what the hay hay?!?! I have waited and waited for this book that I thought was the final book in the series, and now I feel left hanging. Some things are resolved, but there are soooo many unanswered questions. I gave the book a four star because I just can’t give her anything less, but I feel cheated.

Did You Know ...
Paranormal romance is one of the more popular subgenres of romance that combines paranormal elements and supernatural themes or characters with a romantic-heavy plot.
HEA’s (happily ever after’s) are customary, as are strong, sexy alpha males such as vampires, werewolves, demons, and shifters who must team up alongside their equally strong female counterparts to defeat a common enemy. Often an entirely new world, universe, or alternative history is created by the author. In the past ten years, paranormal romance has expanded into almost every romance subgenre from sci-fi, to historical, urban fantasy, and even erotica, spurring a boom in romantic literature.
